CL2 Eco Update...

In 2002 with the Birth of Sophie our first child, we became highly aware that we needed to be as ecologically and environmentally friendly as we could be.

As a L'Oreal Professional salon the colours we use are so safe you can genuinely eat them (although we wouldn't recommend it!) so we are not putting nasty chemicals onto your hair or into the water system, this also enables us to recycle all our foil as well as our other salon waste. 

Our SimplyDry towels are completely recyclable as well as compostable and we would encourage you to take them home for jobs like cleaning floors and windows, mopping up spills and even drying the dog! 

The towels are made in the UK from renewable ethically sourced materials, and the wood pulp is sourced from certified sustainable forests using environmentally sound processes. This greener, cleaner toweling system helps protect the environment and has helped to slash the salon’s carbon footprint as well as providing the best in salon hygiene for our customers.

All the lights in the salon are now Halogen which uses considerably less electricity than conventional salon lighting as well as giving us great white light for colouring. The bulbs themselves are longer lasting too so less bulbs = less waste .

We also use low energy infrared heating in winter to keep you toasty warm.
